Ticket prices
Ticket prices are set by Kraków’s public transport authority, Zarząd Transportu Publicznego (ZTP). Below are the prices of period tickets in Polish złoty (PLN), according to the KMK ticket guide (Polish). All period tickets are personal and non-transferable.
Resident Tickets
Cheaper tickets (Bilety Mieszkańca) for people with a valid Karta Krakowska status. They are valid in zone I and only on Kraków city transport (KMK buses and trams). To buy them in mobileKKM, your Karta Krakowska status must be stored on your mKKM. The FAQ explains how.

From November 1, 2026, the Annual Student Ticket (Studencki Roczny) costs 365 zł. Buying it will require a valid Karta Krakowska status. The 470 zł ticket can be cancelled with a refund for the unused months, at the latest on the last day of the 6th month before it expires. More in ZTP’s announcement (Polish).
- 1 line: valid on the day line you choose, and on the shared section of other lines going in the same direction. You can change the line number for free twice a month. It can’t be bought for night, replacement or special lines.
- Network: all day and night lines.
- 6-month 5+1: you don’t pay the full price up front. For 5 months, 99.00 zł (reduced 49.50 zł) is charged to your payment card, and the 6th month costs only 20.00 zł (reduced 10.00 zł). The cheaper 6th month applies if there was no gap between tickets.
- Annual Student Ticket: 12 consecutive months, all lines in zone I. You need a valid student ID.
Metropolitan Ticket
A monthly network ticket (Bilet Metropolitalny) that doesn’t need Karta Krakowska. It is valid in the zones you choose on KMK buses and trams, on Koleje Małopolskie, POLREGIO and Koleje Śląskie trains (except commercial trains), and on some municipal buses around Kraków.
