Account deletion

This page is about the mobileKKM app (Google Play: de.codebucket.mkkm), developed by David Sn.

mobileKKM is an unofficial app for Kraków’s mobile city card (mKKM). It has no accounts of its own. You sign in with your eKP account (elektroniczne Konto Pasażera), run by MPK S.A. in Kraków for Kraków’s public transport authority (Zarząd Transportu Publicznego, ZTP). Deleting your account in mobileKKM deletes that eKP account, the same one you use on ekp.mpk.krakow.pl and in the official mKKM app.

Deleting your account in the app

  1. Open mobileKKM and sign in.
  2. Go to the Account tab.
  3. Tap Delete account and read what will be deleted.
  4. Confirm and enter your password.

The account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.

Cards attached? An account with attached cards (plastic card or mKKM) can only be deleted once they are detached. The app checks this and opens the eKP website. Sign in on ekp.mpk.krakow.pl, detach your cards, then try again.

Deleting your account without the app

You can also delete it in a browser: sign in on ekp.mpk.krakow.pl, detach your cards and delete the account in the account settings. If you can’t access your account, call the MPK S.A. Kraków helpline at +48 12 19 150.

What is deleted

  • Your eKP account and its data (name, e-mail address, photo and other personal details).
  • Access to the tickets and invoices on the account. You can no longer see or use them.
  • Data the app keeps on your phone (sign-in session, ticket copies). The app removes it when you are signed out.

What may be kept

The controller of eKP data is ZTP Kraków. According to its information notice (Polish), data may be kept for up to 10 years after you stop using the service, for example for accounting, invoices and legal claims. After that it is destroyed or handed to the State Archives.

mobileKKM itself stores none of your data on any server, so nothing is kept on our side. See the privacy policy and data deletion for details.
