Data deletion

This page is about the mobileKKM app (Google Play: de.codebucket.mkkm), developed by David Sn. It explains how to delete your data, including without deleting your account. To delete the whole account, see Account deletion.

Data held by mobileKKM

mobileKKM collects no data about its users and stores none on any server. It has no analytics, ads or crash reporting. Our server relay.mobilekkm.app only hands out a public encryption key and keeps no access logs, so there is no data of yours on our side to delete. Details are in the privacy policy.

Data on your phone

The app stores your sign-in session, a random device ID, copies of your tickets and reference lists (such as transit lines) on your phone. You can remove them by:

  • signing out (Account → Sign out): removes the session and ticket copies,
  • clearing the app’s data in Android settings (Apps → mobileKKM → Storage → Clear data) or uninstalling the app: removes everything, including the device ID.

Your eKP account stays as it is.

Data held by eKP

Your account data (name, e-mail, photo, tickets, invoices, cards) is held by eKP. Its controller is Zarząd Transportu Publicznego w Krakowie (ZTP, ul. Wielopole 1, 31-072 Kraków, Poland), and it is processed by MPK S.A. w Krakowie (ul. św. Wawrzyńca 13, 31-060 Kraków). mobileKKM only connects to their servers on your behalf.

  • Changing or deleting some of your data: much of it (such as personal details and photo) can be edited in the app’s Account tab or on ekp.mpk.krakow.pl.
  • GDPR requests (deletion, access, restriction): write to ZTP’s data protection officer at iodo@ztp.krakow.pl or MPK S.A.’s at iodo@mpk.krakow.pl, phone +48 12 254 14 54. More at ztp.krakow.pl/rodo (Polish).

ZTP may keep some data for up to 10 years after you stop using the service (accounting, invoices, legal claims), as stated in eKP’s information notice (Polish). You can also complain to the Polish data protection authority (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych).
